Fees and insurance

My anaesthetic fee is separate from your surgeon’s and hospital’s fees, unless it is included in a hospital package price. I aim to make my fees clear before your operation.

Bupa

I’m Bupa fee-assured, so there is no anaesthetic shortfall for eligible treatment. Your policy excess and limits still apply.

Other insurers

For most procedures, my fee is covered in full. If your anaesthetic is likely to be more complex because of your medical history, I’ll tell you before surgery and confirm any additional cost in writing. If surgery takes significantly longer than planned, an additional time-based fee may apply. I will always explain this to you.

Please check with your insurer that your treatment is authorised before surgery.
